Anthropology, the science of Man in its totality has come a long way from the early days of descriptive ethnography. The anthropological tools and techniques need to be reoriented in order to understand the dimensions and perspectives of man of 21st century. Its scope ranges from the origin and growth of Indian anthropology, genetics and linguistics to the evolution of Homosapiens and cosmic, cultural and biological evolution and Teaching and Training in Archaeology, human development and peace.
